Increasingly people are turning to natural therapies to provide them with personalised preventative health care plans, management of chronic illnesses and ways to improve their overall wellbeing. A Naturopath will work with their client to rebuild vitality after illness and help their client to achieve optimum health through preventative healthcare.
Natural health care practitioners such as Naturopaths use a combination of nutritional medicine, herbal medicine, homoeopathy and lifestyle strategies to provide their clients with individualised therapeutic treatment plans.
As a Naturopathic Practitioner you will;
Help clients with chronic illnesses, help clients to rebuild their vitality and work with clients on preventative healthcare plans
- Take a detailed case history from your client
Discuss the client’s dietary & lifestyle habits
- Assess your clients health needs
- Develop a therapeutic individualised treatment plan for your client
- Explain the concepts of good nutrition and nutritional deficiencies
- Prescribe nutritional supplements and herbal remedies where appropriate
- Monitor your clients progress and make changes to treatment plans as required
